Champagne Vazart Coquart
Founded in the 1950s by Jacques Vazart, the Vazart-Coquart estate has been carefully nurtured by three generations of winemakers. Initially, Jacques convinced his father Louis and brother René to turn their farming and vineyard ownership into Champagne production.
The family began creating Champagne in 1954, and over time, the brand evolved into what is now known as "Vazart-Coquart."
Located in the prestigious Grand Cru village of Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs, the estate covers 11 hectares, with the majority planted with Chardonnay and a smaller portion dedicated to Pinot Noir.
The terroir, recognized for its exceptional quality, has been essential in shaping the estate's identity. Since joining the family business in 1991, Jean-Pierre Vazart has played a pivotal role in modernizing and expanding the estate, officially taking over in 1995.
Today, alongside his wife Caroline and a skilled team, they ensure that each phase of production is meticulously managed, from the care of the vines through all four seasons, to the detailed vinification process.
